My blues brand me guilty.
Especially blues left over
From when I was Mother
But how blue is “blue”?
Is blue as opposed
To green or grey?
Or, because you’re sure it will pass
Without taking root
Nor continue to fall like rain?
Is it blue as opposed to black?
When you are in a “blue funk”
Is is pale blue or indigo?
It depends on a  person’s perception.
“Today is pale blue and will
Pass without thought.”
An indigo period takes tears
And chocolate
