The Music Library is seeking donations of Musical Instruments which will enable us to setup a Musical Instrument Lending Library.
This will be a free service where you will be able to loan an Instrument as you would a book in a Library.

Lisheens House have worked with artists from PosAbilities to develop a calendar for Christmas 2017!
The Calendar features the work of young adults with autism, printed in full colour and displayed on 12 pages for each month of 2018.
The Calendar is available to buy at just €10 per copy, from Lisheens House centre, Ilen Street, Skibbereen, or from our charity shop next to Fields Supermarket/Pierce Hickey.
PosAbilities is a part of CoAction and is a service that focuses on helping adults with Autism achieve their potential. It assists adults in increased independence through a range of life and work skills programs that are tailored to fit each individuals specific needs. The service will also assist individuals to develop meaningful and inclusive roles within their communities through employment and social activities.
Connecting for Life is Ireland’s national strategy to reduce suicide 2015-2020. Connecting for Life sets out a vision of an Ireland where fewer lives are lost through suicide, and where communities and individuals are empowered to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all at The Crossroads Bar. To each and every person who recently took part in the ‘Whiteys 5k Memorial Walk’. As a result of there hard work they raised a whopping 1,870 euros which they kindly donated to us here at Lisheen House, where we provide free counselling, training & support to those in mental health crisis. Lisheens House will be forever grateful!
